SPECIALIZED EPIC HARDTAIL MOUNTAIN BIKE 2021

A great way into XC racing or fast cross-country riding, the Specialized Epic Hardtail Mountain Bike uses the same FACT 11m carbon frame as the bikes higher up the range, and so benefits from the same Rider-First Engineered design and XC Geometry. This means that the frame offers the same brilliant handling and ride across the size range, despite the different length tubes. With 100mm of plush, well-damped travel, the RockShox Judy Gold fork complements the frame well, ensuring comfort and control across all surfaces.

Shimano’s SLX shifters and derailleur provide crisp, reliable shifting with the combination of a 10-51t cassette and single 32t chainring giving a wide range of easily accessed ratios. The Shimano M6100 hydraulic disc brakes are similarly impressive in combining value, reliability and performance. Fast-rolling Specialized Fast Trak 29” tyres and tubeless-ready wheels make it easy to maintain speed whether heading for the podium or the top of the hill, whilst making the conversion to use without inner tubes simpler.
