SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ROUBAIX RED ETAP DISC ROAD BIKE 2021

Specialized's S-Works Roubaix RED eTap Disc Road Bike delivers the smoothest ride without compromising on speed. It offers pro-proven performance, boasting seven Paris-Roubaix wins, and excels over smooth tarmac, rougher roads and cobbles alike. The latest Future Shock 2.0 is in no small part responsible for the compliance, offering adjustable travel, via a knob atop the Future stem, and hydraulically damped travel. There's also room for 33mm tyres, making this bike even more versatile.

The bike perfectly balances low weight, comfort and aerodynamics, the latter created through the use of Specialized's FreeFoil Shape Library and extensive Win Tunnel testing. In fact, the latest Roubaix is as aerodynamic as the Tarmac SL6, so there really are no compromises. A Rider-First Engineered™ design is key to the balanced feel of the bike, ensuring an equal ride in terms of responsiveness, handling and stiffness across every frame size. The newly developed S-Works Pavé seatpost is compliant and aerodynamic with no weight penalty. Additional flex in the top portion and a drop-clamp design effectively smooth out harsh terrain.

The components are just as well thought out, with SRAM's wireless electronic RED eTap 12-speed system taking care of shifting and braking. There is a wide range of gears for the steepest hills and those strong sprint finishes, with shifting up and down the cassette smooth, fast and precise, and the hydraulic discs bring stopping power in wet and dry conditions. Roval Alpinist CLX disc wheels are light, strong and blisteringly fast, and an impressive line-up of S-Works finishing kit includes a Power saddle, Carbon Hover handlebar and Turbo Cotton 28mm tyres.
