SPECIALIZED S-WORKS SHIV DISC TT/TRIATHLON BIKE 2021

The S-Works Shiv Disc TT/Triathlon Bike from Specialized is a race-ready machine whose sole purpose is to make the bike leg of triathlon as fast as possible. The FACT 11r carbon frame uses aerodynamic tube shapes and airfoils to help it cut through the air, whilst the Roval CLX 64 wheels and bottom bracket use CeramicSpeed’s bearings to reduce friction. The large downtube plays host to the nutrition Fuelcell, whilst the hydration Fuelcell is hidden at the rear of the bike with an internally routed drinking tube giving access to it while still on the aerobars.

Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano help increase confidence in all weather conditions and allow the frame designers to leave more room for airflow between the frame and wheels to decrease drag. Shimano also supplies the groupset in the form of the 11-speed electronic Dura-Ace Di2 system, which gives lightning-fast and precise shifting at the mere touch of a button. The integrated Specialized S-Works Power Cranks provide power data accurate to 1.5%, perfect for measuring an effort in a race or training with maximum benefit. The front end set up is adjustable for a perfect fit, and also allows the bike to be easily packed up in a bike box for travel.
